What is your style for weddings and engagements?
When it comes to my wedding/engagement work I consider my style to be very journalistic with a hint of a modern feel to it. Which describes how much I admire candid photos. Photos that are not posed, but rather laughing, smiling and capturing each second of that very moment. I focus primarily on your love story. Capturing all those precious emotions, from wiping your tears away at the ceremony, and dancing the night away at your reception.
What is your style for commercial, beauty, and fashion?
If you haven't checked my portfolio yet, I can certainly tell you that I have a distinct eye for each category of my photography. That's specifically why I separated them, because I approach them in a different manner. My commercial and beauty photography style is considered as vibrant, bold, and colorful. I use heavy amounts of high end retouching (depending on the image) to produce photographs that are magazine quality to brand and market/advertise your product.
Do you have insurance?
Certainly. I am a 100% covered photographer.
Do you edit all of your photographs?
I am the photographer and retoucher of all my work.
How many pictures will I receive?
It depends on the nature of the shoot, and how many looks your shoot consisted of. But it can range anywhere from 75 - 300 images for commercial, portrait, beauty work.
As for weddings, it depends on the amount of hours I'm booked for. But it can range any where from 750 - 1500 images.
How long does it take before I receive the products and photographs?
It can take up to about 1 week until you receive your online gallery. The finished product is typically ready within 2 weeks after your shoot. My goal is to always give you quality work in a timely manner.
As for weddings, it takes about 4 weeks until you receive your wedding gallery, and about 6-8 weeks until you receive your final products.
What is the "online gallery"?
An online gallery is where I upload all of your images in your own password protected gallery where you can view, download, and share with your family and friends.
Do you Print or offer Albums?
Yes! I offer anywhere from regular prints, canvas, metal and even product printing! I have all sorts of albums from hardcover, genuine leather, leather lux, and even fabric!
What kind of equipment do you use?
Canon and Profoto.
How long have you been in business?
I've been in business since 2010.
Do you have a studio?
Yes! Vanessa Guevara Studios is located in Whitehall, PA.
Do you travel?
Yes! I’m a destination wedding photographer. I've built a very static travel fee so we can keep it simple.
How is your pricing?
My rates vary from client to client. Depending on the nature of the photo shoot, the amount of looks, travel, post production and intended use of the photographs usually determines the rate of my services. Contact Us, for more information.

What is your payment schedule?
Upon booking, I require every single photo shoot to make a non-refundable 30% deposit to ensure the date of booking.
As for weddings, I do the same. Once we sign the contract, a non-refundable 30% deposit is due.
After your deposit is made, an invoice is sent to your e-mail and you can make payments online if you wish prior to your shoot date. Other wise, the full remaining balance is due on the day of your photo shoot.
